"The hotel is clean and well maintained. The staff was exceptional had suggestions for whatever we had planned that day. It was our first time in Galveston and didn’t regret one thing. Overall we had a great time and definitely will be returning back again soon. Thanks to Ms. Dee who made our trip more enjoyable."

"We love going to the Doubletree. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. We love the pool and the bar out front across the sea wall has the best mixed drinks on the seawall. I would highly recommend the Doubletree. Do anyone wanting to stay on the seawall excellent location and friendly staff and great accommodations."

"Just a great place with nice people"

"The room was average but clean. The hotel itself reminded me of Vegas hotels: plush, clean, beautiful decorating, boutiques, lots of friendly staff and three nice restaurants with delicious food."

"We had an excellent stay here before our cruise! We got an ocean view room and it provided great ocean view. Our room had a ceiling fan over the bed and it helped us sleep so much better. Room and grounds were spotless. You do have to pay $15/day to park in their parking lot."

"Unbelievably good breakfast."

"I didn’t like that the guy at the front desk. Domingo was very very rude. Look like I was doing him a favor by getting a room there. Seem to be in a bad mood."
