"Staff members very rude, they’ll mutter under their breath at you if you ask anything of them. We didn’t have a fridge in our room and politely requested one as we were there to run the marathon and needed a fridge.
2 days of asking no fridge each day the new members of staff had no idea about the fridge request. It seems very disjointed no one passes over any info. Have to keep explaining everyday about the same request.
When we did speak to staff behind the counter one man was extremely...

"It is on the quiet side of the river Buda there are few restaurants and a subway or tram to most attractions. it is very quiet at night; we wish we’d stayed nearer the Ruin Bars in Pest not only for dinner choices but much closer to attractions. The manager was very helpful once we asked for him when the front desk wanted 20 euros for ‘early’ check in (ie. 1pm rather than 3pm though the room was ready). It is noisy inside - wood floors and people above us dragging the chairs all night and people...

"We had booked a cozy room but I didnt realise it meant you couldn't get out of either side of the bed and had to shuffle to the bottom to get out. I have a heart condition so paid to upgrade. It wouldn't be an issue for most but I think should be clearer so people with health or mobility can decide. The rooms were clean but in the 4 nights we stayed the bins weren't emptied and tea/coffee weren't refilled. However, I have no doubt if asked would immediately have been done as the cleaning staff...

"The public areas are all beautiful and there are plenty of comfortable seating areas. We had access to the Executive Lounge which was a great facility and the waiter, Mikhail was excellent.
Breakfast was exceptionally good on 2 of our 3 days; on the third they were short staffed. Quality of the buffet was still outstanding.
The only real disappointment was our room: we booked a suite but it was really characterless with a sitting room that wasn't at all welcoming."

"I had a room on the 7th floor with a roof terrace. This was the reason I booked this hotel, and it was outstanding. Spacious, furnished, with incredible views of the Chain bridge and the Palace on the hill. The property itself has a distinctive decor which you may or may not love. Everything was clean enough, but there was evident wear and tear in the room and around the property, the shower seals had failed and there was water everywhere. At least I didn’t need to clean it up! But these...
