My wife and I loved this place. It was smaller and quieter than your typical hotel or resort. The hosts provide a nice little breakfast each morning (croissants and baguettes with local jams, plus fresh fruit and juice). The pool is nice, as are the views. The property is a good location on the island, in my opinion. Easy drive to Anse Marcel on the northern tip (phenomenal beach up there). Also easy drive to Grand Case (best food ever) and Orient Beach (great scene in general). The hosts were nice and had helpful advice. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

Very nice Boutique Hotel

We enjoyed our stay with Cyril and Marie-Julie very much. The property is in perfect condition and the communication with them went smoothly. Spacious, quiet room . Just one tip : a bit more options for breakfast would be nice.

Very new and clean property with a beautiful garden and swimming pool. Close to beaches and hiking trails. The breakfast croissants are out of this world. Only drawback is that you have drive out for dinner. Other than that Everything is perfect. Many thanks to Mary and Cyril. You make us fell like home at your villa. Will definitely visit again.

Lovely host. Fantastic communication. Incredibly accommodating, without having to ask. Offered us an early check-in and a late check out, as we were between houses and somewhat homeless. Great breakfast. Nice common areas. Incredibly safe. Bonus of a really comfortable bed, which is rare. This is a great place to stay a couple days. Unfortunately we were only here overnight, so we never got to enjoy all the amenities.

Cyril and Marie are outstanding hosts. When I made a special request for breakfast, wished assistance obtaining American TV channels, needed alcohol and duct tape to remove cactus thorns, or asked for recommendations regarding a gym and local restaurants, they were quickly at my service. Moreover, the breakfasts are excellent (esp. w/ the addition of my requested protein bowl), the rooms are spacious (both the sleeping area and bathroom/shower), the area is very safe, there is ample parking (a rarity in much of St. Martin), and the Villa is within easy driving distance of optimal outdoor hiking and beach activities in French St. Martin. I highly recommend Villa Jwi Lavi.

I stayed 3 nights in December at this property! I loved my accommodation, the room was clean and very large. A balcony with a view to the ocean. The property is very quiet and somewhat secluded , it is very close to the ferry for Pinel island, walking distance but there is not much to do at night. It is not walkable to restaurants or grocery stores. You need a car to get around. The breakfast was good. Fresh fruit and bread , coffee. There was a small pool to take a dip. The owners ( Cyril and his wife Julie) were on site and very helpful ! Loved my stay and recommend !

Cozy, clean, convinient you definitely need a car to get around the island but the location is perfect close to the best beaches & restaurants family owned business sweetest and most welcoming staff we stayed 5 days with my 9 month old baby and they made this trip so easy for us will come back again, theres a great pool as if everything isn’t already perfect can’t wait to come back to the island & stay here again :)

We had a great time. Sandy checked us in when we arrived. It was lovely and clean, safe and quiet. Close proximity to Pinel Island, which is a fabulous day out. Close enough to super U and restaurants in the area. Would need to rent a car. Overall a fabulous weekend.

It is a lovely boutique hotel with only a handful of rooms. The owners were there to greet me upon check-in as at the time there was no formal staff. The area is a bit desolate so you will definitely need a car but everything you'd need is only a mile or two away. I would definitely recommend. Also, there's a very steep road (Rue de l'anse Marcel) that leads to a "secret" bay. Go to Ristorante Del Arti. You won't regret it.

A home away from home

Jwi Lavi was perfect for the two of us for our recent two weeks on St. Martin. It is like new and extremely clean, with large well-appointed rooms, a beautiful pool, croissants baked by Cyril every morning, super easy parking and a beautiful view of Pinel, Orient Bay, and St. Bart’s in the distance. All in a very safe, quiet residential neighborhood, in a new development that is gated on nights and weekends. It is located halfway between Grand Case and Orient, and just minutes from the Super U and ATMs at Hope Estate. Cyril and Marie-Julie were wonderful hosts and we enjoyed meeting the other guests. We will definitely be staying there again, and I highly recommend!

We enjoyed a peaceful stay at the Villa Jwi Lavi, Coco suite, from 4/27 to 5/3. The host, Cyril, was welcoming and attentive to our requests and questions, always responding quickly. He kindly loaned us a beach umbrella for our daily trips. The balcony has incredible views across the ocean to St. Barts, Orient Beach, and the lovely rooftops of Cul de Sac and surrounding mountains. This is a good location for hikers, situated above the Rue de Grande Caye with a short walk to the dramatic Grande Cayes Reserve and the pretty hillside overlooking Pinel Island. Also, a short daily walk to see the lovely donkeys! This is an ideal location with a short drive to Orient Beach, Grand Case and the Hope Estate shops & restaurants. Our room was very clean, modern and simply furnished, with a small fridge and kettle for tea/coffee. A breakfast was served daily with freshly baked baguette and croissants, fresh juice, selection of fruits, tea/coffee/water. The pool is impeccably clean, warm, peaceful and inviting. With only 5 suites in the building we often had it to ourselves. Although there was some construction taking place adjacent to our hotel the activities weren't noisy or intrusive - its just a positive sign of the resurgence of this beautiful area.

We had the best time at Villa Jwi Lavi! It was in a quiet gated community, but very close to restaurants, shops and beaches. We rented a car and there were plenty of spaces for parking. Our hosts were kind and accommodating! The room was spacious with a nice balcony overlooking the pool and sea. I definitely recommend this wonderful place!
