"Staff were amazing across reception, restaurant, and housekeeping. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Special shoutout to Oscar at reception for being especially helpful and giving great suggestions.
The hotel has been nicely remodeled. Part of the lobby was still under renovation, so there was some noise and dust, but you can already see the style they’re going for: elegant and relaxed. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choices and great made-to-order omelets.
On a not so positive note, our room felt dated, especially the bathroom. The bed and sheets were great, but the bathroom needed work. You could see some of the wallpaper was peeling off, there was black buildup around the sink and moldy/stained grout in the shower, especially in the corners. We could have asked to switch rooms, but we were on a tight schedule and didn’t notice until later.
Overall, a nice experience, especially in common areas. Just make sure your room is acceptable as soon as you check in."
