"My family of four had a wonderful time at the Pelican Reef Villa. Elsa and the bartenders were wonderful. They helped us to arrange everything from transportation to other reservations. The resort was beautiful and well maintained. We had a 3 bedroom villa that gave us a beautiful view of the pool and the ocean. All the people that we met in Belize were wonderful. The Island was a little expensive for routine purchases, but it could be due to the fact that it is an Island; supply and demand....

"Wow, can't say enough good things about this place. I was there on a solo trip for three days, and it was just what I needed: clean, quiet, off the beaten path, but not too far that I ever felt unsafe. Woke up to a thunderstorm early in the morning, peeked out the front door, and I felt like I was in the jungle. 10/10 would stay again."

"What you see online through the pictures and what you actually get when you get there are two different things. I will say breakfast was good however the cook was a bit agitated when my friends and I asked for more than one piece of bacon and we were only allowed one fruit punch for breakfast not really my idea of a continental breakfast. I stayed in a two bedroom two bath unit with a roommate and we could not use our bathrooms simultaneously. The water pressure would be low and cold however,...

"The stay started off a bit rough. The person who was supposed to pick us up from the Water Taxi was nowhere to be found. So we walked with all of our luggage to the hotel. The host did apologize. Later, when our group tried to shower, there was no hot water. It was freezing cold. The staff just ignored the issue until multiple guests complained. It was finally fixed by the evening. It was an okay place to stay. This place has a lot of potential; it just needs some updates. "

"Good location across from the ferry terminal, although that did make it busy at times it was convenient. Breakfast “buffet” isn’t actually a buffet but a waffle thing, toast, eggs, and fruit that show up when the hosts arrive in the morning, but the time varies. Room was nice and clean. Our room had a decent kitchen but there was nothing in the kitchen to cook with. No hot water at all, even after telling them about it, sink and shower had no water pressure hardly. had room was finally cleaned...

"The staff went above and beyond for us the whole stay. I would definitely recommend staying at Corona del mar! There’s also lots of restaurants, bars, shops to check out around the hotel. Great location!"

"The receptionist were all so nice and very welcoming and friendly. Anytime I had a question they answered it and were very kind. The hotel isn't fancy but if you want to be close to everything this is where to say. I didn't need a golf cart to get around because all the things I needed were in walking distance from Anglers, to Caramabas, to Elvis Kitchen I walked to everything"

"The room was very clean and the AC was super cold. Its right in town, and our room was loud. Its close to the beach, but all the beaches in San Pedro are overwhelmed with sargassum. The maintenance man, Carlos, was super friendly. Not a whole lot of amenities there, but for the price it was good if you are looking for a clean room in town."
