"We had a lovely time. From the moment we were greeted at reception on the first day till the day we left. Everyone was so nice and couldn’t have done enough for us. Our 2 dogs were made so welcome and our dining experience wasn’t reduced in any way because of them. Harriet should get a mention as nothing was too much trouble for her. "Amazing opportunity to stay in a real castle with such a rich history. The staff, especially Jon, were outstanding. Everyone was so accommodating. It seems like they have been making constant improvements to the property. The spa closes early (6p) and several amenities in the spa were out of order.
