Three stars is being generous. Customer service can be greatly improved, especially at the front desk check in (she couldn’t get away fast enough and I had questions I was unable to ask). I had requested a late check out on Jan 1 and was only granted an extra half hour, but then housekeeping was banging on the door 15 minutes before that. Also, on that same morning I was told breakfast would be extended until 9:30 (usually ends at 9:00), but the staff member was closing everything down before 9:00. My son was unable to get juice because it was already unlocked and I couldn’t even make a cup of tea. I spoke to the staff member and said I’d been told it would be open until 9:30 and she said “No, it’s closed now.” And this was still a bit before 9:00. I asked if I could just make a cup of tea and she handed me a teabag, but she’d already taken the milk away. I wasn’t impressed with the staff at all. The bedspread also looked very dirty. I would look elsewhere if traveling to the area again. (We were there for the Cotton Bowl). Others told me Motel 6 was a better option for an economical choice when all you’re looking for is a clean, comfortable place to stay a night or two.
