Only downside was the kids go to bed around 8pm and the bells over the road in the church toll until 10pm every 15 minutes; but once they were asleep they couldn't hear them!"

"I went to Engelberg for a restful weekend of walking and was very happy with my stay. From arrival to departure the ladies who operate the hotel were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great, and they are well stocked with comforts like snacks and wine (very fairly priced too!) for late night goodies. I would recommend them and hope to stay again another time."
