The chief went out of his way to ask me what food I liked and cooked it especially just to make us feel welcome. That was not necessary but the warmth of the team made our holiday excellent. "The other corner is a nice place to stay when going to Sigiriya. It feels a bit like a calm oasis. The personnel was really helpful and booked a driver to Sigiriya and Kandy the day after. The latter seemed to be by some deal with a spice garden where the hotels driver were really insistent on us stopping by. It was a nice experience, but got us a bit late for our train. The dinner was nice and the breakfast ok. The rooms were in these cool hut-houses and the insides were fresh."
