"For a short stay it was ok. Free Parking very close and easy to access. Positive: Parking (free), very friendly staff, fast check in, A/C, location, balcony, cleaness. Negative only the bathroom. Very small, no shower curtain and low water pressure. "

"Loved the pool. The villa was really clean and bright. You do need to check into the actual hotel (which this is not, this is the villas), which is like 5-10 mins away by car, and I'll say this now that the hotel does have a restaurant. It was nice that when requested, they quickly delivered an iron and ironing board since it wasn't already inside our villa. The whole property was really clean and well maintained. The view from our villa was nice. The villa does have a steam shower which was...

"We had a great stay here - house was beautiful and well equipped and the remoteness and private pool were great for a relaxing stay in Crete. While you are about 20 mins outside of Chania it served as a good base for all of the western beaches and attractions while still close enough to Chania for dinners and exploring. On top of that Erato was super hospitable and responsive to our needs - highly recommended!"

"Exceptional! One of the best hotels we’ve stayed in. The staff, the location, facility, and quality of food was incredible. Don’t think twice, it’s totally worth the price."
"We had a lovely, relaxing stay at the Galini Palace Resort Hotel. The overall atmosphere was calm and peaceful throughout, as the hotel is located in a quiet area away from the main tourist crowds.
The Highlights:
The absolute star of the hotel is the pool area - it is large, beautiful, crystal clear, and offers great view of the sea. The staff were also extremely friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. The food variety in the dining room was impressive, and while not every dish was to our personal taste, we always found plenty to enjoy.
Areas for Improvement:
There were a few minor issues that kept this from being a true 5-star experience:
Pool Hours: The pool hours are quite limited (10:30 AM – 6:30 PM). We felt it would be much better if it opened earlier and stayed open later in the evening, especially during the long summer days.
Room Amenities: For a 5-star hotel, we expected more luxury touches. For example there were no bathrobes, and it was disappointing to be charged an extra daily fee to use the room safe.
Maintenance & Cleanliness: The showerhead in our room was completely clogged. Also, there was a strange, strong smell of cleaning products in the hallway outside our room, which wasn't very pleasant.
Overall, a very enjoyable stay in a beautiful setting. With a little more attention to the small details and operating hours, it would be perfect."
"This was a lovely hotel and the staff were courteous, extremely attentive and very kind. Have to mention Manos who went out of his way many times to help us and nothing was too much trouble for him. He was an absolute star and we are very grateful for his help.
The hotel is surrounded by beautiful beaches and very close to Chania. Our room was very clean, a little dark due to not getting any sun on the balcony, but this did keep it cool.
It is a small hotel and we felt the only negative was it was very quiet at night, but many people would prefer this anyway. The area itself is fairly quiet at night as many people go into Chania. There is a bus to Chania a couple of minutes walk round the corner, it can get very busy. Noticed the sign on the bus said 31 people seating, up to 59 standing so at times it is not the most pleasant journey. Bus journey takes about 15/20 minutes.
The pool area was very well managed, better than i have seen at some other hotels. There was never a fight for beds as the hotel staff remove used towels and replace with fresh new ones, so there was a turnover all day. It is adults only which makes it very peaceful.
Breakfast was ok and there is something differant to try every day. You order from a menu rather than a buffet situation."

10/10 Excellent
"Loved our room and even used the small pool. The breakfast was amazing.
There were lots of families with children, but it was quiet and people were respectful of each other."
"Communication was superb via email and the reception staff. All staff on site were very friendly, polite and extremely helpful. Our accommodation was cleaned regularly as was the complex. We would highly recommend to everyone our holiday was amazing 10/10!! Thank you"
"More beautiful in person. Excellent stay. Great location in quite area with breathtaking views of bay. We stayed in a full sea view room.
Walking distance to many great restaurants.
The only flaw I would say is people claiming pool chairs in the morning then leaving their towels all day long."
"The hotel was spotless and the moment we arrived, the staff were so friendly and helpful , they couldn’t do enough for you. Breakfast and snacks are yummy and they make an ace ice-coffee. Very baby-friendly with comfortable cot and high chair provided in the room. All the facilities you need to make a simple meal , beds very comfy and all the amenities are in good working order. Will definitely like to stay again, it’s a really good base for exploring chania and surrounding areas."
