"I totally expected more! The room was ok as in it wasn’t dirty but not updated at all! I went to the swimming pool and there were 2 different parties smoking weed which really put a bad taste to me cause they were doing it with children present. The breakfast they gave us tickets for Mike Anderson’s restaurant so I was thinking it would have been a quality meal but the best thing of the breakfast was the bacon and honestly it’s pretty hard to mess that up!"

"The rooms were clean , but my daughters has paint missing as if someone fell into the walls room and bathroom. Washer was broken, and some very sketchy people . Some lady was screaming at her 3 yr old as a grown adult with fowl language. After her trying to start a fight with me I complained about it to the front desk and he wanted to move me and my grandkids after we were unpacked from a long day at blue bayou. Just all around a very uncomfortable stay."

"There were a lot of children there during my stay and it was very chaotic in the pool/hot tub area, so we were not able to enjoy ourselves. This was also true for the dining area during breakfast and dinner. I did ask a staff member who I could talk to about enforcing the hot tub rules about not having children under 5 use it. "Check-in process was okay. Cleanliness and noise were an issue. Walked into the bathroom of my room and immediately notice a puddle of urine on the floor. Took a shower and was standing in ankle deep water. The ENTIRE room smelled like mold/mildew. The people on the other side of my room were loud as I don’t know what. They were laugh dropping things on the nightstand and had their baby/toddler us babbling some times and even crying while they did nothing to stop the baby. Unless you’re...

"The hotel staff were friendly & helpful. The gift bag of bottled water & chips we each received at check in made us feel welcomed. The our room was spacious & clean. Having the sofa in our room made it feel like a suite. The free breakfast was a plus. The hotel is in a good location. Next time we’re in Baton Rouge we will stay here again."
