"It's great to have a restaurant downstairs serving traditional Slovenian dishes, and it's just a short walk from the river, where you can go for a swim. However, I recommend staying only one or two nights. The location is convenient, but it can be quite noisy because of the restaurant and the nearby road."

"The hotel is trying to impress but it feels forced. The Atmosphere is dry with odd sounding music. The rooms are dark. No fridge or other amenity. No one smiling. Service slow. Food not quite hitting the mark. It just didn’t feel friendly. Disappointing."

"Another superb stay here. Breakfast is excellent, we stayed last year the staff are so helpful. High cleanliness standard. We had a couple of the evening buffets which are €25 each, great value esp for our son who eats like a horse. Will be back."

"Lovely hotel within walking distance to lake and restaurants. Easy spot to start the hike into Julian Alps. Super helpful reception who were kind enough to hold a couple of small bags for us to collect at the end of our hike"

"Staff, room, and restaurant were amazing. Great communication. Easy check in. Beautiful/comfortable room. All good was well labeled. They even made me a gluten free breakfast to go. I would highly recommend for people with food allergies."
