I was in town for work and appreciated the prime location on the boardwalk, but the hotel is in need of a renovation.. The room was in very poor condition. The carpet was very old, the stainless light fixtures were rusty, the bathtub handle was broken and fell off, and the stopper to switch on the shower didn't work properly. We had an ocean view, but the glass was filthy and there was something that had dripped down the glass and dried and was never cleaned. There was some kind of pill on the floor under the desk, and the toilet bowl had black mold growing under the rim. To make things worse, we were charged $35/day for parking which involved walking a block away, which was on top of the $25/day “resort fee”. Not to miss out on another opportunity to milk the customers, the vending machines didn’t accept cash so I was forced to pay a $.15 premium to use my card. A small thing, but irritating nonetheless. You might expect perhaps some refreshments or coffee in the lobby, but no. A short walk to Starbucks was another $20/day just to get coffee. I will definitely not stay here again.
