"The accommodation is good with optimal air conditioning, and always clean. Limited to pizza for evening meals and that was disappointing given it’s not close to restaurants and you would have to go into the city centre. Otherwise all the staff are lovely and very helpful."

With Centraal Station only about a 30 minute tram ride away, it is a great location for site seeing, museums, Vondelpark and tours at a reasonable price point. "Room was not clean with multiple stains on the walls and furniture, dust on tables/cabinets, and mine had two old socks in the room when I arrived. Location is fine given the close access to the tram but further away from the more interesting parts of the city than I initially thought. Staff was okay, although when I arrived, the middle-aged white woman working at the desk gave me a deadpan stare for several seconds before finally greeting me which I thought was strange. Breakfast was a let-down...

"This hotel isn't in the best area of town. My guess is that it used to be a part of what seems to be a lower-income housing complex. However, when booking for a family of 5, we couldn't book 2 hotel rooms in downtown Amsterdam. This hotel has an ok gym and restaurant. It's close to grocery stores, restaurants and the train/bus stop."

"Overall, I enjoyed my stay. The in room amenities were a bit mixed. Great complimentary coffee but modest bathroom amenities. One bottle for all body soap, shampoo in one. Not bad but not any wow. Food at restaurant on 17 was pretty good. Had fennel soup that was over the moon good. Breakfast buffet was impressive, tasty and well thought out, right until it gave me a dose of food poisoning on my last day. Only downside of my stay. "

"Izabela in restaurant area was amazing . What a wonderful human being . Had one issue, my son brought in food and bar tender told us we could eat in bar. We were only people in bar. Then some rude manager came in and told us to leave. Fine . Now no one in your bar. Make sure you are ok same page as workers ."

"Air conditioning not working, room was full of cobwebs and stank of mold! Mattress was thin and extremely uncomfortable! Noisy wasn't the word for this hotel didn't sleep all weekend, staff rude and very unhelpful no electricity on arrival had to use touch on my phone to see where we were going! Would have asked for a full refund if anyone was working on reception! Breakfast is a complete waste of time save your money "

"Booked this hotel as it looked really good online. Also have been looking for a hotel out of the city centre and close to the Vondel Park, for regular trips to Amsterdam. Broke three ribs prior to travel and so was unable to travel as was finding it difficult to walk. I realise a booked a non-refundable ticket, and requested a change of date. I thought that the hotel would have had a bit of sympathy for my situation. But no, they refused to move the date. This room could easily have been...
