Great space! Cabin options for big and little families.
It was a "sleep over" cabin which we had no idea you either bring your own bed linens or rent them from the park. Thank goodness the owner gave us a pass on the linen fee.
(The mattress had a well worn center which caused us as a couple to roll down into)

did not realize the price does not include bedding which is a surprise. The sofa bed is not comfortable for kids.
Very nice people and property. Will definitely stay again.

Be Aware- This is a Campground
Not recommended except as a last option. This is a Campground. My cabin only had electricity. Not exactly up to hotel standards. I chose not to stay and got a fantastic room in Gillette WY at Motel 6 for half the cost of this campground cabin. I do not believe this place should be included on a Hotels website.
Was niet ruim maar wel schoon. Klein toilet- en doucheruimte. Wij konden gebruikmaken van de gedeelde toilet- en doucheruimtes die schoon waren
Superaardig personeel.
Great place tucked away in the trees. Love the activity room for kids and the Bar that Ed has put together. I bet staying there during Rally week would be a blast. We were early and held a family reunion...would love to stay here again.

Spent $55 to sleep in a closet
We were pretty excited to stay here. I thought it was kind of weird they didn't provide linens but we thought whatever. We thought the 2 twin beds would mean adult beds but they were 2 kids twins bed in a cramped rectangle (maybe 7 feet by 10 feet). There was a decent "game room" that you can go do laundry in and watch tv or play air hockey. I don't feel like that made the cabin worth $55 though. Also the morning we left we had hives all over us. We don't know if it was from the beds (we put our own sheets on), or sitting on the couches in the game room, or something in their washer or dryer but we got horrible hives for the rest of our trip after sleeping here.
The campground is beautiful. Was upset that I paid $75 per night for a cabin, then had to pay $15 additional for linens for my bed. It has community bathrooms, none in the cabins but ended up costing more than a hotel.
this place was the best of south dakato it was a great drive to he land marks and not to far from any of them. it was above clean and the peace was every where. the folks that were the staff and owner were not so distant that i felt like a tourist, in fact the difference was there smiles. May God Bless and keep each one safe as they will travel for the winter. always laura
Check in was fast. Cabin was clean. I forgot to pay the balance of my reservation until a week before check-in. Ed was very nice for not cancelling me. Thanks!
My friend and I stayed a night in a cabin. It was very quiet and serene. We even saw a deer walk into the campground. The cabin had AC and a ceiling fan, plus fridge and microwave. While it was small, it worked and we loved it.
Took this cabin because there wasn't anything thing available, any where around; and it was such a beautiful area, comfortable rooms, friendly staff and we will be back. Kids swam in the heated pool after long day site seeing, adults to the bar area they have right there within site of the pool. Very relaxing atmosphere right in the trees. Recommend highly!!!

Low-Budget
At the time of booking it was not clear that (bed)linen was not included in the price. If we had known the extra cost we simply would have booked a hotel room instead with an en-suite bathroom.
Perhaps I missed it in the details of the original listing, but I had not seen listed that the beds were to be without linen. By the time we discovered this fact just before arrival (we were phoned and told this fact just before arrival), it was too late to do much about it and we were only offered sheets at additional cost. We had sleeping bags and just chose to use them. The managers were otherwise friendly and the campground attractive. The very small cabin room did have a small air conditioner and fridge and was reasonably clean, but for the price listed we feel we could have been much more comfortable elsewhere or could have camped just as comfortably for less cost.
I was under the impression this cabin was all inclusive when I reserved the room. Sheets, pillows, blankets, and towels had to be rented. Toiletries were across the road. No privacy. We ended up checking out early, forfeiting our second night stay (non-refundable, which is convenient), and staying at a hotel in Rapid.
