"We stayed here for a few days to go to Yala National Park and Hotel Elephant Eye was a great location for taking a SAFARI Tour. The owner is very friendly and the staff are very hardworking. The property is very well maintained. Room was clean and comfortable. We had breakfast in the restaurant. Easy walk or Tuk tuk to town for restaurants and grocery stores."

It was lovely to be able to sit out on a balcony and read. The manager arranged a great safari to Bandula National Park and provided us with a very tasty breakfast to take with us. "Cabanas located in trees - you are literally sleeping outside. Different experience, but nice. Be aware that animals may enter, and the river is very close by, so maybe not so good for people who needs complete silence to sleep. Staff very helpful and nice!"

"I had a great relaxing stay in Yala. The manager was fantastic, so friendly and helpful. The room was huge, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was decent size with separate shower. The breakfast was basic but tasty and lots of it. The pool was great to jump into after a long day travelling or on safari. All the jeeps will come pick up from the hotel and they can even arrange a safari for you for a reasonable rate if you dont want to do it yourself online. Theres not much around the...

"Chaarya is a wonderful resort. The pool was awesome, the rooms superb, and the evening buffet was one of the best buffets I have ever experienced for less than $15usd. Great spot for visiting Yala."
