Farmstay in Decatur County

"I honestly don’t understand how this hotel has such high ratings. My experience was very disappointing. The carpet in my room was completely torn apart, and the bathroom wall had visible mold, which immediately made the room feel unclean. The first thing that ruined the vibe when I arrived was the atmosphere. It felt more like a college study area than a hotel. There were several people sitting on their laptops studying in the hallway, and one person even had a desk set up right next to my door. I didn’t even feel comfortable trying the breakfast because the overall cleanliness and environment of the place didn’t feel right to me. Another strange thing was seeing the front desk employee smoking outside as if it were his own house. I also found it unusual that the cleaning staff consisted of only one male employee handling housekeeping. Overall, this was my personal experience, and unfortunately I would never book this hotel again. "

"Booked this hotel for 3 days for a Birthday trip and it was excellent. The staff was friendly and the room was comfortable and clean. The area felt safe to explore and loved the downtown area at night with all the lights. It was a relaxing and peaceful trip. Would definitely stay again."
