"Good experience"

"Free parking, attentive staff, lovely breakfast buffet, pool/hot tub with mountain views are all great. Our room was clean and the bed very comfortable. But the bathroom was "down the drain"...awful lighting and ventilation, shower/tub valve was loose, no counter space, and very old shower curtain."

"It was a pretty standard hotel. Nothing really out of the ordinary or exceptional. My family and I went there for a show at red rock, and didn’t really know about the area whole lot when I discussed with the front desk if they had any information about the area, they weren’t really helpful. The unfortunate part was that you could hear every single step or word or noise coming from the neighboring room, which made it a very hard sleep. Not a whole lot around the hotel. "Really cool environment if you are into dinosaurs and fossils. The hotel is older and shows its age in places. But it's clean and well maintained. Bed is not too bad. HVAC is noisy (we've had 2 different rooms with the same issue). Staff is courteous and the included breakfast is pretty good with fresh scrambled eggs, green chili, some kind of meat and potatoes. The coffee is awful, but everything else is quite good."

Also, the equipment/method used for retrieving our hot food was awkward and difficult to get into. Lifting up the glass doors to go under is not condusive to anyone, let alone an older person. "Unfortunately, we had gone to bed and, we could smell burning in our room. We called the front desk but, nobody seemed to rush to see. We called down again and we were offered another room (they said the smell was possibly dust burning off the aircon!). The other room was better as it was on the quiet side but, the trailing lead that supplied the bedside light and charging point, was faulty. The Lady from the front desk came up again but could not remedy. We decided sleep was more important than...

"The room was clean. The kitchen was dated, and in need of an update. The property overall was a safe except for a few wandering people that I couldn't tell if they were staying there or not. The property was clean. "
