"They have to clean the rooms before giving it to their customers and have to fix the furniture inside as well. I had a really bad experience in this hotel. I book the best room but it was not the best hotel I won't book it again in my life. Other than the actual price for the room for 3 nights they charge me extra 900$ on top of it without even letting me know why and when I called them they said we didn't charge anything. So really bad experience and not gonna book it again"

"I found my room to be noisy. Large fans running directly outside the room. Loud banning noise during early morning hours. Carpets seemed old and stained. It appears to be an older building that is somewhat well maintained. In my opinion the accommodation didn’t justify the price."

"Upgraded to the loft apartment style room and it was worthwhile. There were breakfast and steak restaurants nearby and the added bonus of The Tavern which was attached to the hotel. All in all a comfortable stay and probably better than our experience at the Fort Garry which we stayed at after this hotel."

"Room was fine, bed was comfortable, shower was good. WIFI was great as was the breakfast. Hotel seems a little worn out - I'm assuming this site is used by some weekly renters. There was some garbage by the back door that seemed to be accumulating - not being dealt with. Other than that our stay in Winnipeg was good - this is a convenient location. Staff and parking were fine."

"Unfortunately, this hotel is showing its age. Leaking roofs in foyer, carpeting that needs replacing, overall a refresh is needed. The buffet and restaurant are very good and served with a smile from friendly helpful staff. The same can be said about the desk staff. Pool area was kept clean and tidy as well. Staff did their best to maintain an older hotel."
