"This is a very basic hotel. It is on the beach but there are no amenities. Ok there's a coffee machine. There are a few dinner restaurants close by but for everything else you have to go to town. Yes you can walk but who wants to do that for every breakfast? If you come with a car and a cooler you might enjoy it. Be sure to stay on the side facing another property - otherwise you are next to the public parking lot where the surfers etc gather. Add in the garbage truck and the commuter train. I am not sure why it got a high rating. I would give it a 4."

"I did not know property was under renovation. Elevator did not work. Construction worker on property directing traffic through construction into parking garage got snippy with my wife because she wasn’t moving fast enough. Walked to front desk and cancelled our stay, and stayed somewhere else."
