"Property had indoor swimming pool and hot tub in an immediately adjacent building. Our room only had hot water in the sink taps, so we had to get cold water out of the shower. Also, a strip of some kind on the bottom of the bathroom door always stuck on the threshold piece and made a very loud “SNAP’ whenever you opened the door. I twice mentioned these 2 problems to the desk staff, but nothing got repaired during the other 2 days we were there. Other than that, the room was cozy and clean, with a good view of trees and grass in the back of the property. Housekeeping services are only provided upon request each day, so we didn’t use that at all."

"Overall a very nice place with a great staff. Location is hard to beat for Colonial Williamsburg visits. Nice breakfast. There seems to be many amenities (pool, fitness,ect) although we did not use any of them. A few upgrades could be made in the room, but it did not affect the overall stay. There may be a restaurant listed, but it is not open. We would definitely stay here again."

"Quite possibly the best impromptu stop my husband and I have ever made! Everything was incredibly clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. Breakfast was even more enjoyable with the beautiful view.We loved taking in the beautifully decorated rooms and especially enjoyed cozying up by all the fireplaces. The entire stay was so peaceful and relaxing—it was the perfect place to get away and unwind. We’re already planning our return!"

"Overall this was a great choice. I was visiting family nearby and didn't spend a lot of time in the hotel, so I gave a good rating for some of the categories as I didn't get to try them. The hotel was easy to find and located very near an outdoor shopping mall with good chain restaurant choices, a Walmart, TJ Maxx and other stores. Within walking distance of the hotel are a Wendy's and Chipotle. The area felt very safe. Check-in was great, the lobby is very clean. The hotel staff were friendly. When we got to our room, there was a slight bleach smell and I would rather that than a moldy smell. The bathroom and room were clean and lots of towels. Beds were very comfortable. I didn't eat the breakfast, my son did and said it was great. I would definitely stay here again."

"Though it is obvious that money is tight and some maintenance and ambiance needs have been put on hold, the staff couldn’t have been more helpful and pleasant. It was a much lower price than other places to stay, and I enjoyed my time there."
