"I am a very picky traveler and I almost don’t want to share this gem but the property deserves recognition. When I walked into my room I immediately noticed how well maintained the property was. I asked how long they have been in business and they told me since 2019 so my reaction was wow. The rooms are on the smaller side but they are polished. The bed can be split and the shower heats quickly. The pool is lovely and the staff lovelier. I highly recommend for a solo stay."

"Lovely property that we always enjoy staying at. The pool is large and warm with plenty of sun beds in both sunny and shady spots. The bungalows are spacious and clean. The bathroom is probably the only part that is average due to shower pressure and small hot water system."

"The staff were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble for them. They were always smiling! The air conditioner in our room was leaking water onto the floor on our arrival. We reported it and it was fixed immediately. The tv did not work but on reporting it, it was replaced by another. The tap in the wash basin was extremely loose but was attended to after we reported it. The room was very clean and the housekeeping staff did a very good job!"

"Palm Gardens is a lovely older style hotel in a great area, close to the beach walk and to many cafes, restaurants and spas. The room is a great size, bed was comfortable ( after a topper was added). Pool area is lovely and quiet. On site restaurant has Japanese menu with great food. Made on the front desk is a lovely, helpful and polite man."

"The ice cream in the lobby was particularly appreciated as was the very helpful staff when I needed a copy of a paper. I only wish my state had been longer."
