I have stayed here at Mainstay Suites, Denver International Airport location from February 19, 2026 and booked until March 3, 2026. I have a service animal that is for a disabled family member with me. I have paid every day of my stay the “pet”fee plus tax. The hotel staff have been notified that this is a violation of the ADA. They do not care, “It’s our policy.” They also have place a hold on my credit card each time I rebook, without changing rooms or credit cards, to rebook for incidental fee three times. I went to run an errand and left my 16 and 6 year old with my service animal. I had to move money around. I get a call from the 16 year old stating that the general manager had kicked them out of the room, to not having the incidental fee deposited. Now that I raised a stink, they now say that they will not be extending my stay past March 3rd. Very disappointing to think that a loyal Choice member or anyone for that matter would have their ASA rights deliberately stripped away from to the staff at this hotel. Not to mention they are breaking the FHA law about service animal and the safety of my children. I contacted the corporate office and they were not very concerned about the situation and kept saying they would reach out to the staff and investigate. I have not heard back from anyone as of yet. They are clearly breaking the law and they will be very disappointed when they have a federal law suit against this hotel owner and the corporation.
