Amazing views

This place had amazing views, we could see whales right from the property. Front desk was very helpful and staff was very friendly. There was tons of room in the condo. Easy access from the 101. I really have no complaints. Check out changed to 10:00am which did not affect us since we had to leave earlier than that to get to the airport. This is one of the more amazing places we have stayed.

It was good. Only down fall was WiFi had to be purchased and the pool reservations had been booked prior to people checking in so we were not able to reserve a time.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves here despite all amenities being closed due to the pandemic. The staff were very friendly and the units cleans, quiet and well-appointed, and the location was perfect for whale watching! Would highly recommend this for those considering a stay in Depoe Bay!

I enjoyed the view which was perfect! The room set up was great as well. Could have used bigger TVs as the ones were small and not a great picture - but very little time was spent on them so was not a huge thing!

Beautiful seaside condo

Staying at Whale Pointe at Depoe Bay was awesome! It was roomy, well-furnished with great kitchen including all of the dishes, pans, etc that you would need. The three pools with hot tubs are all beautiful. We could see whales right from our windows!

Best Resort Ever

The view from our unit was amazing. So close to the water we saw whale spouts and birds. The property has seals who sun on the rocks. The perfect place to explore the coast.

Gorgeous view!

We had a spectacular view of crashing waves, whales, birds and sunset. The rooms had all of the amenities one could want. It was a bonus to have a propane BBQ clean and ready. Overall the complex and unit were accessible, which made it easier to get around with a little one in a wheelchair.

Nice suites. kids had fun in indoor pool. Staff was. Sales pitch of timeshare right when you are checking in. that didn't go very well. False advertisement of free WiFi, while in fact there is a charge for WiFi.

Hotels.com booked us for 3 nights at this hotel & when we tried to check in, the hotel had no reservation for us...spent 2 hours in the lobby trying to reach hotels.com only to be out on hold numerous times and in the end, we had to make other arrangements as there was no vacancy here...Hotels.com took our money & gave us a bogus confirmation number to a timeshare hotel that had no room for us...we are still trying to get our money back from hotels.com & keep getting the run-around from them....VERY DISSAPOINTED! And after all we had to deal with, now we have to fight to get our money back!!

Cannot beat the view and location.

First off, the location is superb. Right on the Oregon Coast and about as close to the water as you can get. The facility has a lot of features such as two pools and hot tubs, a tennis court, a basketball court, workout room, and a game room with a pool table and some other games. There might be some other features that I am not aware of. There is also a good chance that you will see whales right from your room. The downside to this place is that it is a timeshare so the staff will try to set you up for a sales presentation. We were going to go but at the last minute we cancelled. Being that it is a timeshare, the rooms are nice but they are not custom to the owner. We have stayed at the condo right next door called Village at North Pointe which is not a timeshare and the rooms are a notch higher and no pressure to go to a sales presentation. We would recommend this place no doubt about it but also consider the complex right next door.
