"Not a great experience. The management company waited to send the log in instructions until the check in day and, as luck would have it, I had bad phone service that day. They didn't want to give me the entrance instructions until I paid the hefty cleaning fee --which I couldn't do because I had terrible phone service. Finally, they called me and gave me the keys to enter the unit, however, this was complicated by the fact that they kept telling me to look in the mailbox (where the keys were located) that had an identifying sticker -- which it did not. All of this delay made me over an hour late to meet family for dinner. The management company also didn't tell me how to access the advertised parking spot and the room had no instruction binder with this info. The room was also advertised as having a washing machine but there was no machine in the unit. We learned later that a machine was available for our use in the basement but of course we didn't know this until the instructions were sent to me. The unit also has an ant problem. Probably my worst Hotels.com experience. Also good that we had our own shampoo etc. Very stingy on garbage bags too. Only the one in the bin and no extras. That said, the space was decent and very clean, aside from the ant problem. "

"The hotel is very close to the train station which was ideal for arriving and leaving. They offered luggage storage before we checked in and after we checked out. The room and bathroom were both clean and looked very new. The bed was very comfortable. Toileteries were supplied. The room details said it had a balcony and showed a picture with one. Our superior double room had doors that opened out onto a ledge less than 12 inches in depth. It seems the bedrooms on the floor above had the balconies we saw in the pictures. Although disappointing the room was still lovely. It had a TV and tea and coffee facilities. The two receptionists we spoke to were very friendly and helpful with lots of extra information. There was no breakfast facilities on site but we had a beautiful breakfast at a restaurant at the station which was delicious. It was a 24 minute walk to Haute Ville but I'm sure you could take a bus or tram to get there. Local supermarkets and restaurants are close by."

"The small indy hotel is a customer-oriented hotelier. We were happy to find a staffed reception after our 'contactless' accommodation in Zurich where it was difficult to have issues resolved. It is well situated to the train station and an easy walk to the UNESCO designated Old Town. Breakfast is healthy and filling, the room was renovated and very clean; strong wifi signal. The only friction was nighttime noise. We faced the street and without AC, had to keep the windows open."
