"The site advertises that they took pets, but they neglected to say that the only pets they take are dogs unless you look real deeply into the website. After we booked the hotel assuming they had allowed cats we tried to cancel our reservation, but they refused to let us do that and made us pay for the four days that we had booked regardless. There was no reason that they couldn’t refund our money. I understand that they said it was a non-refundable price but I think they could have made an...

"Lovely accomodation. Really quiet, easy to find and park and clear check instructions given the day before. The garden was well maintained - we had a lovely room opening out onto the back. There's a couple of pubs, shops and an Indian restaurant all within walking distance and it's 5 mins up the road from the Park and Ride into Cambridge. Fully recommend a stay here! A recommendation to the hotel would be to provide some instructions/guide in the room on any local amenities as well as how the...

"Extremely disappointed. Advertised as one thing (apparently Hotels.com won’t let me say what, so I have had to re word my initial complaint), when I checked in, I was given something completely different.
Suffice to say, when I booked I was not expecting to be staying in a bedroom in someone’s house.
Unable to get a refund dispute the proof I supplied that the booking was misrepresented.
Please avoid

"Poets24 Apartments enjoys the best possible location in Ely with a large and secure free car park at its rear. The Cathedral is just across the road and everything you need including lunch by the riverside is within easy walking distance. The room was appointed to a high standard and the large walk-in shower was exceptional. The facilities at the Poets Hotel are just a minute up the road and a great cafe is virtually next door. The hotel staff are delightful, the bacon butty standout and...

"The property was disgraceful. We didn't stop there we booked somewhere else. Bed unmade not been changed from previous person. It absolutely stank of cigarette smoke. Rubbish on the floor in front room. Food left in the freezer. Tried ringing Muhammad but no answer."
