"Very easy to check in. Room had no internal deadbolt for security. Workers were very loud next door in the courtyard. Adjacent room had teenagers slamming doors. Room was on 2nd floor and lift worked properly. Close to public transportation but far from city center. Grocery just around the corner. Shower had mold and room was only superficially cleaned. Linens were clean"

"We greatly enjoyed our stay, the room was very spacious and comfortable. Lots of storage options and we really liked the large opening window doors. The kitchen is useful although the sink and counter area is quite limited. Having a grocery store right next door was extremely helpful and well-used. The city centre is accessible with bus/tram then the subway which took a little over 30 minutes but was easy enough. Overall would consider staying again if possible. "

"This place is great in all aspects - 10 min walk to Marienplatz, 5 min to the station, grocery store right downstairs, and great restaurant and bars around. I'd say the only drawback is that the bathroom has glass doors. Anyone in the room can completely see you doing whatsoever. If you are traveling with children, or would like doing your business with some privacy, being a newspaper or a roll of kitchen paper and tape to cover the glass."

"Stayed 4 nights at the Platzl in a dlx dbl room that had a nice sitting area near the windows, which came in handy. Location is great, and staff are very pleasant and helpful too. Room very nice, as is the hotel decor and lobby with a coffee shop too. One interesting and uncommon thing is they give you the 1st mini-bar use as complimentary. Location at Marienplatz and 200ft from the Hofbrau haus cannot be beat. Would highly recommend!"
