"I came to Germany for a trade fair at Messe Berlin and found hotel prices during the event incredibly high. For 22–24 September, I was quoted €378 for a single bed in a five-person hostel room. Then I found this hotel in Potsdam for €414 for two nights. Getting to the fair was easy: the tram stop is about 200 metres away, and with a transfer to the S7, the journey took around an hour. My room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Mr Nicholas also replied quickly whenever I had a question. Prices...

"No staff on site. Room was fine and bed was comfortable. Seedy area with lots of graffiti and rubbish around. The supermarket was very close. Both S Ban and U Ban close by. Restaurants walkable, mostly Turkish or African which was fine with me but if you are expecting a German experience it was a good way off. Probably good value for money."

"The apartment hotel is very close to Alexanderplatz S&U with an easy walk of less than 10 min, that makes convenient for the airport and city travel. Plenties of eateries and groceries are nearby for your selection. The staff are polite and hospitality in accommodating the guests, i.e. to provide salt and pots if cooking in the room by yourself. The room is clean and quiet without street noise even on the first floor facing to the street probably because of good window seal. The online checkin...

"I arrived late at night and there was nobody at the front desk. The instructions given and self check-in were very poor. It was nearly impossible finding the room which was on the second floor of a side building. There were no lights in the hallways or the stairwells. The room itself wasn’t bad and the bed was extremely comfortable. There was no parking other than street parking and the car had to be moved at 8 AM. The parking meters only took cash, which is a headache if you’re living in the...

"The bathroom shower and basin were a bit clogged, so the water was draining very slowly. The blanket (not the cover) was clean but had large yellow stains. I don’t know how old they must have been to become so deeply ingrained and impossible to remove. The walls were also a bit dirty, as if they hadn’t been painted in a very long time. Apart from that, the stay was comfortable. The staff were kind, and the location is convenient, close to public transportation and some of Berlin’s main...

"Stayed for a week with a family of 5. Apartment was clear, nicely furnished and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable week in Berlin. Transport links to the centre were exceptional, 1 stop to Hauptbanhof. Convenient location for shops and some local restaurants. It’s a very urban place, but to be honest, if you don’t like that, why are you in Berlin - we didn’t feel unsafe or uncomfortable. Staff were so friendly and welcoming, lots of knowledge about the area and couldn’t do...
