"A lovely oasis of calm in Meru. This was my second stay here. Great service . The only things to improve would be the pool looked a bit green and cloudy. Also to have a continental breakfast option that would allow you to pay slightly less for not having the cooked breakfast . But the food and choices were excellent . "I’ve given 5 stars for everything and you still want more? Might take one off for being greedy …. Only slight complaint is about the architects - who puts glass (even frosted) directly between the room and the toilet? However, in the hotels favour - Swiss roll for breakfast! "

"I loved the hotel and some of the best and most attentive service anywhere I've ever stayed. The signposting to the camp needs drastic improvement (my taxi got lost which I understood) and the road to get there is dreadful. The accommodation is fabulous and I slept so well. The hotel has an Indian owner and most of the guests were Indian, either from India or local. The way they spoke to and disrespectfully treated the staff was shocking and entirely unacceptable. There needs to be a sign reminding the guests to treat the very fine staff with the respect they deserve or be asked to leave. "
