"Beautiful view from our balcony and communal area round the front of the property. Very clean with great facilities and air con, the wifi was not the best so be prepared. Very steep walk up to the property which is doable if you are quite active, would recommend to have a car or motorcycle otherwise. Close to a bus stop, nice supermarket and town centre. "

"A wonderful 10 night stay at Margi House. Bed was very comfortable. Air con was blissful. Cleaned really well daily with fresh towels. Swimming pool was exceptional. "Ensure you contact the host in advance to arrange a check in time as this is not clear in the confirmation email. Even so, we were disappointed that we had to wait almost an hour to enter the room, despite emailing our arrival time, as the owner had decided to go to the beach. Otherwise, the owner was helpful. "This is a new property in Kastraki, which is a 15 min walk or 5 euro taxi ride from the town of Kalambaka. Kastraki is a small, quaint village at the foot of the monasteries in Meteora. There is a lovely family run restaurant just at the end of the road, and a bakery across the street. The rooms themselves are well designed, modern and comfortable. For a fee, ask about late check out. It’s very much worth it given the transportation options out of Kalambaka. I’d definitely come back again!"
