"Reception staff very helpful with good instructions as you need a couple of codes for the out of hours door and car park door. Apartment was a good size with a useful kitchenette. Parking was easy access on the level with plenty of space. Handy supermarket next door with cheap fuel pumps. Easy walking distance to centre of Tours (10 mins)"

"Oppholdet i Tours var meget vellykket, dels takket være hotellet. Det viktigste var beliggenheten, rett ved siden av jernbanestasjonen, men uten at det var noe bråk. Hotellet er et leilighetshotell, rent og pent og med det man trengte. Det var ikke daglig rengjøring, men det gikk fint for 3 dager. Hyggelig betjening. Resepsjonen var stengt mellom 13 - 15. Tours er et utmerket utgangspunkt for reiser til mange steder i Loire dalen. Leie av bil gjør dette lettere. "

"De passage à Saumur, nous avons réservé deux bungalow. Endroit sympa à proximité du golf de Saumur. Ce n'est pas un hotel donc on peut y faire sa cuisine. Les draps...sont en location et cela n'est pas spécialement écrit dans l'annonce. L'accueil est super et la dame qui nous a reçus était particulièrement sympathique. "

"Absolutely spectacular. We really enjoyed our time at Chateau de Candes. Bertrand and Sam went out of their way to ensure that our stay was as comfortable as possible. Running this place is not easy but the family are doing their absolute best as custodians. They are fully dedicated and committed to making Chateau de Candes a success. Merci Bertrand et Sam. "After seeing mixed reviews I had been concerned but for the price we paid this place is amazing. We were lucky to have been upgraded to a 2 bedroom apt, which I would book first time if we came again as see that the one bed would be small for 4. It had everything we needed (except a fan) Like everyone else who stayed whilst the weather was around 35 degrees, we struggled with the heat and no air con, had to sleep with the bedroom door open (we had a ground floor apartment but it felt safe).
