"Brilliant Hotel with underground parking which was £10 for 24 hours. 5 minute walk to the shops. Right next door is the famous Rock City and we did wonder if we’d hear any noise from this but absolutely nothing at all and we stayed on a Friday night when it was open, our room was on the same side as Rock City and our window was in vent and still no noise at all. The communication with the hosts was always excellent, and they were supportive throughout my stay. The apartment was wonderful, and I had everything I needed. "Brilliant property. Brilliant location and great amenities. Only issue was that it was the third floor which would be a problem for those unable to tolerate a lot of stairs. It is right in town and close to many shops , corner shops , restaurants, takeaways and bus/tram station. Within walking distance to the train station. "

We were on the second floor and there was no lift - something to be aware of if you have trouble with stairs. The bed was really comfortable and the sheets were lovely and soft. "Lovely self contained flat. Everything you might need for a short stay. Very quiet. Beds were extremely comfortable. Free on street parking is a bonus."

"Had a whole holiday cottage to myself for the price of a hotel room. Really generous and varied breakfast provisions, with spacious kitchen and dining area to enjoy it in. With a washing machine and airer in the property, I was able to get a load of washing done overnight, as the cottage was really warm. "The property was as described and was clean and comfortable and in a good location. Check in was easy. However this is the only property I have EVER stayed in that didnt provide any tea coffee milk etc. Even budget hotels do this. It made the place seem unwelcoming and meant we hsd nothing to drink on arrival after a long journey. The same applies to the minute amount of hand soap provided. Also, a bin bag would have been useful. Parking was ok but was on the street and at a distance...fine...
