"The host was very kind, welcoming by leaving our keys out despite of the late check in and holiday, and the property itself was nicely maintained. We appreciated the hospitality and could tell there was effort put into making guests feel comfortable. Since there were no staff available during our stay due to the holiday, it was thoughtful that they left the closet open with extra sheets and towels in case guests needed anything, which we appreciated. However, there were a few things that made our stay more challenging than expected. I didn’t realize beforehand that the property was located in a fairly remote area, which made getting around a little more difficult than anticipated. Since there were no staff present because of the holiday, it also felt a bit isolating at times if assistance had been needed. Although we were able to lock our room door, we didn’t feel completely secure because the main entrance doors were left open overnight. This made us a little uneasy from a safety standpoint. Additionally, there was a noticeable musky smell that became somewhat bothersome during our stay and affected overall comfort. Overall, the host was kind and accommodating, and there were thoughtful touches throughout the stay. With clearer expectations about the remote location, improvements to ventilation, and more attention to building security, the experience could be even better."

Meals are simple and satisfying in a relaxed bistro style. The buffet breakfast is fantastic, with a wide variety of fresh options. A wonderful touch is the 24 hour trust station with snacks, drinks, and complimentary water, which makes the stay feel effortless. Step outside to gentle walking paths and open sky that invite you to slow down and reconnect with nature. A simple, beautiful escape.
