My stay was just ok. Breakfast was average. I did not use the pool or any amenities. Everytime i wanted to take a shower I had to call the front desk to fix the hot water then wait 30 minutes.

First room was dirty and had mold on the bathroom ceiling, second room was very old. pool was very cloudy and you had to ask to have the kids stuff turned on. I will not be staying there again.

Pictures are misleading. Lots of maintenance left to do at this location - pool was usable but chemicals were stored on deck and areas were taped off with chairs which all felt a bit sketchy. Loose floor tiles and a leaky roof in the fitness centre. It was all a bit lack lustre and in dire need of repairs.

Biggest issue was no hot water , front desk didn’t seem to care how that impacted guests, shady hangouts in the parking lot, drunks fighting off the elevator, kids running rampant, definitely would like my money back from This stay

Dusty dirty carpets, hairs in my sheets and one bed frame was broken, the maintenance man was kind and made a shim so the bed laid flat. Other than that the staff was nice, and it was quiet.

Under new management. Working to bring up to standards. There was a problem in my room. When i told the manager he immediately called maintenance. He offered me a new room, but the problem could be deferred. The maintenance person came immediately and we reviewed the issue in the room. The bed was firm, room quiet and very reasonably pri.

We picked Comfort Inn for a one-night getaway with our kids because of its pool with slide, free breakfast, and suite availability. (There are 6 of us so multiple beds is a plus.) We are not very picky. However, we had some unpleasant experiences which will make us seriously reconsider staying here again. First, the pool -- it was dark in the pool room, the air was freezing, and the hot tub was not only closed but actually ripped out. (There is no mention of this on the website.) Second, the room next door was apparently getting an upgrade, so a man was doing construction in there at bedtime with loud power tools. Finally, the hotel overall was lacking in cleanliness. We could see lint and hair in the carpet and furniture of our room. I would not recommend Comfort Inn Dickinson.

This was (and continues to be) the worst hotel experience that I've had a in a long time. We chose this hotel because our kids have loved staying at hotels with waterslides, but we will not return. Check-in: slow and convoluted. Not sure if it's because we booked on Hotels.com, but it took forever. The amenity page listed baby cribs, but they do not have any. Room: unclean and unsafe. Immediately noticed the curtain rod precariously hanging from the ceiling. Then we saw the bright red stains in the carpet. Tried to bathe and found that there was no hot water. I sat on the corner of one of the beds while holding my child and we ended up on the ground when the mattress literally flipped off it's supports. Pool: disappointing. The overhead lights were out on one end of the room. The heater in the waterslide and splash pad area was broken and the water was ice cold. Parts of the pool area were under construction and not well-barricaded. There was an unmarked, unprotected protruding piece of rebar at the main pool entrance. Breakfast: the bright spot. The warm breakfast was on par with your average 2.5 to 3-star hotel complimentary breakfast offerings. Check-out: extended headache. The process was smooth, but we've since found out that instead of *placing a hold* for $50 on our credit card for incidentals, they've *charged* $50 instead. Not once, but twice. I've repeatedly been told that it shouldn't have happened and their system is showing the money returned (it hasn't been). Th

None of the staff or managers wore name badges. The day counter person, a man, and the night counter person, a women. Both were extremely rude. Checked into room and had not even enough toilet paper on the roll for one use. Changed it out to the roll on the back of the toilet. When we asked for another one the night lady asked us our room number and why we needed the toilet paper. We were staying for 3 days. None of them had name tags on. Nor was there a name plaque in the manager on duty slot. Everytime we left our room and came back our key card did not work. Even running downside to go smoke. Had to have our key card reset several times (this appeared to be happening to every guest) and Everytime we had to have it reset they were very rude about it and never even once apologized and said they were sorry for the inconvenience or anything. Some guest appeared to have spilled/dropped some chips and cheese coming up the top of stairway A to the 2nd floor and it was there all 3 days.

Check in was great. First room was clean, went to turn heat on and wasn’t working. Maintenance came figured out what thought was the issue. He was great! Heater ran for 15min and tripped breaker this happened two more times before I called front desk. The night person was rude and kept insisting that I wait for maintenance. I stated I wouldn’t wait for maintenance as it’s an electrical issue. They did agree to switch us to a another room. The second room had a dirty towel in closet and rag wrapped around shower head. Upon looking closer rag was put there because shower head was broke and would spray water everywhere. We choose to not switch rooms again and just went to bed. Check out was better morning person was very nice but couldn’t offer any discount since manager was not available. we will not stay again.

Terrible. Issues from check-in taking 20 minutes, to the room - NO HOT WATER and not told upon check-in (next morning I was told it happened after I checked in); NO hot tub, with 2X4 and 2X6 boards and old tarp braced and laying on area (management stated it happened day prior?!); beds old, mattress was on broken frame. End story - I want my money refunded. WORST hotel in years.

I use this hotel to stay overnight when i have a long roadtrip and its good enough for that. There are some minor things that would bother me more if i were staying longer. Things like, the TV doesn't work, cobwebs in the corners of the room, the pet fee is actually $25 per night and not $10 as listed on Expedia and lastly, you have to book a pet specific room which Expedia doesn't give an option for. All in all, its cheap and close to the freeway so ill stay here again but i probably wont book through Expedia
