"The hotel room is spacious and clean. The front desk staff are very friendly, however l was a bit disappointed with their knowledge. Eg. I asked and l was informed that there are no bus services to the town centre, and my best option is to go and walk there. I took a 35 minutes walk to the town centre and l found a bus ride back to the hotel with a bus stop 50 metres away outside the hotel. I also discovered that the hotel has a bus shuttle service to the town centre on a limited schedule. 1st...

"We stayed 2 nights, older hotel, good location There were a few insects in the room and bathroom The tub itself did not appear to have been actually cleaned in several months, it was a soaker tub, but I didn't even want to step in so no way would I use it as a bathtub The attached bar Uncle's was lively and interesting clientele"

"Room incredibly tired and smelt dirty and of old cigarette smoke. Towels were worn and also smelt bad. Definitely a 3 star - not 4 star. Expensive for the room and would not return."

When I moved the bed away from under the a/c unit, there were a number of dead bugs under the bed, and my daughter wouldn’t see there. -bathroom was very sparse, and the shower stall had been poorly maintained. -bedding was old and well worn. -staff was nonexistent -"

"THE " Heavitree Gap Outback Lodge " was just such a refreshing place to stay at minimal cost. The staff at reception "LESLIE AND PAGE were so helpful and refreshingly honest in their attitude towards customers and their respective jobs. The cleaning and room preparation was excellent and the cleaning staff were most obliging in providing extra service if there was a requirement.. such as sugar, tea, milk, blankets etc. Kudos to the groundsmen for their efforts to keep all clean and tidy."
