"The landscape was neat and clean. The room was a double with just the basic necessities for a one-night stay. When I walked into the room it had just been cleaned and had the most pleasant smell. It was also very quiet in the building; not a lot of door slamming or noisy people. The bed was clean and mattress comfortable. Suitable for a quick trip in and out!!! Hotel staff and workers were pleasant and friendly."

"Check-in was easy, the caretaker was right there to hand over the key, and gave us a brief history of the plantation, which has been around since the 1820s! The air conditioning worked very well and that's a blessing since we visited in August. Husband and I explored and walked the property more than once, trying to imagine it in its different eras. My only issue was the breakfast sandwich in the freezer, which was a solid block of ice. Maybe, put the sandwiches in the freezer the day before...
