"Most of the staff were amazing, especially the breakfast crew at the Veranda. The bartenders were honestly, hot and cold. The lunch venue by the pool staff, provided food that was mediocre/bad tasting and so was their attitude. Overall, it is checked off our bucket list...never again"

"First time in Bahamas but not my first Riu. This Riu property by far was the best one to date. What i liked: property is not overly big and you can find everything pretty easily. The staff was superb especially Vera Carter as a head chef. The beach was outstanding. My ocean view was worth every penny. Food was good. What i didnt like: jerk chicken grill had the same menu every day - please change it up. No ATM on property - you have to go to the Atlantis. Add a bit more entertainment at pool...

"This property is amazing! It is completely unique and so relaxing! We stayed in a raised hut. The view was gorgeous! It simply cannot be beat! The resort is so cool- it’s rich with music history and it’s decorated in Bahamian style with porches overlooking the sea. We loved it! The staff was very friendly and helpful. "The road leading to the property was treacherous to traverse in an SUV. So once we were up, we didn’t want to leave. We had to wait until after 3 to check into our room even though there was only my husband and I and one other guest staying in the cottages. The room was a lovely room with ocean views. "I really wish it was a better experience. The rooms were not up to par. We had to switch rooms 2 times because of issues. First room the shower didn’t work. Second room the ac was broken. Third room didn’t even lock properly or have a working bathtub but we decided twice was enough and we would just take our chances.
