Good dining options nearby — for example, a sunset dinner at the Wharf Bay and Restaurant, a pleasant stroll away beside the Richmond River."

"If you stay on the side away from the river, you will be waken up by dump trucks at 6 am. They need a plumber and a toilet cleaner. Otherwise a top spot."

"The bed was comfortable. The fridge was good enough to freeze the Esky bottles (not all motel fridges manage this). Plenty of bench space in the kitchen area. The hot water though never got very hot."

"Lovely clean well equipped room, larger than normal with good tea and coffee facilities. If there was one thing missing it’s no usb outlets so bring a charger. I’d definitely stay here again."

"The property is walking distance to Shelly beach. Great overall spot to stay. Since the place does have a kitchen the supermarkets does require a drive back into Ballina city center which is about 5-10mins away."
