"For the price of the hotel, it was fantastic. Very clean. Super friendly staff. Perfect location on the beach in the middle of everything. Food for the price was an excellent value with specials on both food and drink every day. "

"We loved our stay here. The rooms are clean and modern with good AC and wifi, hot shower, and comfy bed. The breakfast buffet was very good. Menu selection changed a bit every day and service was outstanding. Dinner was also very good - we ate there twice during our stay. It's a short walk to the beach, with good snorkeling there, or very reasonable rates to join a snorkel tour through the hotel dive shop."

"We were very happy with our choice of La Placita. We read lots of reviews to help make our choice...selling point for us were the pool we got to use at La Serenis which was literally steps away from La Placita lobby and that we got to use lounge chairs at La Sirenas included with staying at La Placita. "We loved our stay at Mr Tucan. The room was clean and bathroom spacious. The deck looking out at the beach was great.The staff was very friendly and always ready to assist. The coffee shop was cute and a great extra and the breakfast plentiful with lots of choices. The location can’t be beat, right across from a beautiful beach. Highly recommend!

"The staff were fantastic. They really went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The resort itself is average. The food was okay.
