"Generally personable staff; room service was excellent. Stayed here at various times over the years, the place has been slowly upgrading. This trip I had my dog, so was assigned a pet-friendly room on the lower floor, not facing the water. Everything was adequate, but I know that some of the upper floor rooms facing the water are nicer. No coffee maker in the room; one has to go to the lobby for coffee. A small thing, to be sure."

The ceiling tiles were partially open and the room layout was worse than a college dorm. Overall, old and outdated with barely functioning to accommodate the guests. "The hotel was very nice with all you would expect. Clean, tidy, good wifi, freeview TV, fridge, air con / heating. I couldn't find fault. However the receptionist was a dreadful human being. "The facility is well kept and clean. However, my daughter was also staying at the hotel and her room smelled musty. It was on the first level. She didn’t want to say anything because she was traveling with her 2 daughters and did t want to disrupt them. I requested her to say something. Other than that, the stay was most enjoyable. Breakfast choices were also good."

"I had an overall good stay and the room itself was clean, which I appreciated. However, the blankets had an unpleasant smell, and the fitted sheet kept coming off the bed, which made it a bit uncomfortable. The breakfast was decent, but I would have liked to see healthier options like fresh fruit or Greek yogurt, as most of the choices were high in sugar. Overall, it worked for what I needed, but I did have to go elsewhere just to grab something as simple as a banana."
