"We had an absolutely wonderful time. We would have loved a waterfront view but our accommodations were clean and comfortable and cool! It was a little damp in the room and the air conditioning had a little bit of a funky smell. I would go back there and stay in a minute and plan to. We had an absolutely wonderful stay. We were able to walk into town for shopping and eating in precious little Southport. If I could have stayed an extra day I would have. Thank you so much for your hospitality!"

"Easy check in. Great parking. Wonderful view of the Ocean. Listening to the waves all night long. Room was freshly updated nice new bathroom. Very comfortable bed. Nice balcony with chair. We stayed on the 2nd floor wish we could have had the 3rd. Really nice breakfast in the morning. Waffles,biscuits, cereals, OJ and coffee and more. Pool was very nice. New decks around the pool with great view of the beach. Very short walk to the ocean. 10 out of 10. For our trip."

"Place is physically deteriorating Elevator was disgustlimgly dirty. Place smells unclean - mildew? mold? First room i got was overwhelmingly smelly. Staff wss gracious and gave me a new room. It smelled but less than first. I was going to an event that started an hour after checking in or I would have left. The bed was clean and comfortable thank goodness. Was going to use in room coffee machine but black stuff came out. The hotel sits very close to road and you are exiting onto a 55 mph...

"Great clean accommodations including comfortable beds and pillows. Spent one night as stopover, very quiet and as a single female felt very safe and comfortable! Staff were extra accommodating with early checkin for this weary traveler and it was greatly appreciated ! I know they had breakfast but didn't utilize it due to comfort of room. I would highly recommend !"

"We stayed here 6 years ago. We knew the rooms were cozy. We returned because of the proximity to the beach. Last time, the island had very few lights and the stars were amazing! I felt like you could reach out and touch the Milky Way. Now there are more houses and lights and so, fewer stars were visible than in my backyard. There is now a fee for parking if you want to bring a vehicle with a cooler or whatever to the beach. The beach is still beautiful, room is cute, but had a weird smell, and...

"Whe had a great stay at the hotel just a few issues. Walls are paper thin and the noise level at midnite was aggravating. My grandson got stung by a huge wasp in the room 3 times but we worked it out. Location and cleanliness was very refreshing and I calked and they let us check in early which was very nice. I'd stay again and refer people to the hotel."
