The beds were comfortable. The breakfast piece is definitely not really a thing anymore and it seems like the place is for sale but it's a lovely area and the grounds are gorgeous. We had a fantastic stay after apple picking. "

"This is truly a unique apartment on the James...It's rough hewn wood framing interior and Elizabethan-style decor lend an air of the spiritual and mystical to your stay. The master bed is SOOO comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped. There are fabulous views from every room. Note that while there is room for 5 guests to sleep, there are only two bedrooms - one with a king size bed, one with a twin bed and one fold out couch in the living room area.
