The Swiss Chalet is over 300 years old and it shows - the walls are paper thin, the floors are loud and the beds are twin sleigh beds too small for a six-foot-tall man. The last night we were there was one of the worst sleeps I have had in a long time due to the noise from the room upstairs. "I had a great stay as a solo traveler. I did a single room and had use of the shared kitchen, which was perfect for my needs. The room was basic but clean and quiet. I really liked the location where I could walk to town and get groceries, and catch the bus to Stoos Ridge, and the bus+train to other locations. It's also a good location for going on morning runs."
