"I surprised my husband with this "glamping" experience on a Colorado roadtrip getaway. I highly recommend staying in the Velma -- an Airstream. It was very fun. The staff is SO NICE and everything was very clean and well-maintained. The towels were plush and the grounds had a fire pit, cornhole and a nice big hot tub. "The owner stayed after hours until I could get there because my trip was delayed. Superior service, the rooms are really well appointed with top-notch fixtures and amenities, especiallyfor a motor lodge of this vintage. Plus, they have a sauna and hot tub and other things that you just wouldn’t expect, including a great breakfast And all in this beautiful setting in the Colorado mountains.
