"It was very dirty. The only good thing was the cleaning lady that was lovely and the front desk worker was nice. The place doesn’t look like the photos. It was in a bad area. The bed was uncomfortable, the rooms were old. Won’t stay there again. Had no laundry when their website say they do. Door latch was dodgy and felt unsafe. "

"We've really enjoyed our stay it's a great unit. It would suit anyone that enjoys the convenience of being self contained as we do. It's close to the city and very easy to travel to surrounding areas. I would highly recommend it to anyone. "

"It is an average, hotel with expensive, rates, The water tap from the sink, we could not close it...very hard. The noise from the cars passing by,.. was bit annoying. The fridge, looks like been in Ukraine,..broken cabinets, and no holders on the door."

"The hotel is in Hindley street which does distract from the lovely feel of the interior of the hotel. A few homeless sleeping rough very close by. Police station right next door and it gets loud at nighttime with the nightlife. Perfect location for our trip to the footy and lovely staff. Good 4 star rooms and the zrt deco big entrance is very nice. Makes you forget the street front. A good value city hotel."

"I stay often as it’s convenient walk to the places I need to go in the cbd and the rooms are spacious and large bathrooms with a bath! The beds are also very comfortable not to soft which I love I always have a great sleep and quiet rooms highly recommend and they have a deal with the Wilson car parking on hindley street which is a very short walk behind the hotel one st back. Great restaurants on site to and walking distances for other choices ☺️"

"I am unable to understand how Expedia provided a rating of "very good" for this hotel inspite of my experiences from 10 /5/2026 to 17/5/2026. My room was 1208. 1. Carpets outside the room - as soon as you come out of the lift the sight of the dirty carpets attracted my attention. 2. Carpets inside the room were just as bad leaving me to wonder when the carpets were either vacuumed or steam cleaned. 3. The wardrobe has dust on all the shelves. 4. The shower in the bathroom was ancient...

"Very disappointed with the little the hotel does to provide a decent experience for all its patrons - especially with regard to amenities such as the pool, spa and sauna. We were unable to use the spa on 3 seperate occasions as it was occupied by toddlers and their parents. We stayed for over an hour on most occasions, waiting. At one point we tried to get in but were told we couldn’t apply the jets as it wasn’t the preference of a small child who’d been bobbing up and down in the spa for over...

"We liked everything about our stay. The view from room 518 was unbelievable looking over the river and the Oval from a floor to ceiling window. The dinner and breakfast at ITL were delicious too."
