Credit card surcharge was exorbitant. Major renovations in progress, but no notification or rebate. Room provisions were inadequate (tissues, sanitary pad disposal bags). Not what one would expect of an entity that trades on excellence."

"There was a bracket in the bedroom for a tv but no tv. Lacking power points for phone / watch chargers beside the bed. The bed was comfortable and clean as was the bathroom. "

Since we left before breakfast, the hotel kindly provided a small takeaway breakfast box with pastries, fruit, and juice, which was a thoughtful touch."
