"What a great stay we had while our young nephew was attending hockey camp at Lake Cowichan Rec centre. We were very grateful for the very early arrival we were gifted as we had to be at the first hockey practice so early in the morning. Thank you! The suite was lovely and perfect for what we needed accommodations for. Nice private bedroom, comfortable pullout bed in the living room area for our nephew. "We loved how clean and beautiful the rooms were. The air conditioning and fan kept the room cool on a very hot day. We did try calling the given phone numbers at one point to reach staff but could not. My husband was able to track someone down in the closed restaurant to answer his questions. We also were startled that the restaurant was closed early as there was no sign on the door from the rooms and the staff member who told us was not clear but we understand that the smoke from the fires...

It was clean and was within walking distance to the Doc Lewis park where the festival was located. There is a beach and a walking trail located directly in front of the home. I would stay here again. "The place was wonderful - clean and spacious with a full and well-appointed kitchen. The owners were really responsive and helpful. The hotel is right on the Main Street of Ladysmith, which is a beautiful town with great shops, cafes, hiking and vineyards all around. We spent four nights here and had a great time.
