"We, 4 friends had great time at Gran Melia hotel. The service was great and staff was very friendly. Ordered a half board package, which including dinner and breakfast. The food quality and service were great. "

"The hotel staff was very accommodating. They provided plenty of great options near by for dinner. Breakfast was included in our package and there was a lot of variety. Kevin went above & beyond to help get us our tickets to the park and check us in for our flights and print boarding passes. Thank you for a great trip! "

"This is a nice little resort. We have only good things to say about it. Very quiet and private. Beautiful pools. The breakfast buffet was extensive with new pastries added each day. Dinners were good and not too expensive. The rooms are spacious, and the beds and pillows were comfortable. Very hot and ample shower. And the staff was friendly. "

"The hotel was clean. The rooms comfortable. Easy to get to the falls from the nearby bus terminal. Breafast is fine and the area is ok. Pool bar staff (or to be fair one pool bar staff was very rude). Rest of staff very pleasant. Rooms cleaned well every day. Good staff. An unfortunate incident at the end which marred our stay."

"We stayed three nights in the 700 units. Long walk to dinner, bar, pool but the units are new, spacious and well designed. The pool and deck are showing their age but were very refreshing. Breakfast and dinner were excellent. Drinks are the bar were generous and tasty."

"Clean room and excellent service. I did get a couple of cockroaches in the room after it rained but maybe it is expected from a sub-tropical place. They allowed me a late checkout which was great. All in all a very good experience and would atay here again. 4 stars only because of thr cockroaches otherwise 5 stars."

"Breakfast was fine. The pool was heavenly. Very peaceful. The restaurant is NOT good for dinner. Tries to be upscale but misses the mark. "

"Hotel with individual lodges, bit dated, had a basic kitchen area. Bed ok. Unfortunately partner got food poisoning at the restaurant, had not eaten anything else that day. Staff very friendly and helpful. 2 pools very nice. Quite a bit of road noise. The hotel recorded a taxi driver who was fantastic. "

"Good location in town near lots of restaurants and pedestrian friendly night life. Small cafe on first floor was a great spot for breakfast or afternoon coffee. Room design was problematic. There was no closet for hanging clothes and no suitcase stand, table or chair. The bathroom design is awkward - on the toilet, knees hit the laboratory and to access shower, had to climb over toilet. The bed was comfortable but the pillow is a large hard brick - not comfortable and gave me a backache. "

"First we came no electricity no towels TV doesn’t work and the telephone doesn’t work every time I have to go two story down to the front desk and tell them I didn’t have towels or electricity or telephone doesn’t work or AC doesn’t work. It wasn’t pleasant at all."
