"The staff here are absolutely wonderful creating a real home from home! The food in the restaurant was top notch and the drinks were served with care and attention. There was a lack of any kind of “ale” from the bar (neither bottles or cans) but that was the only missing item really.
Almost everything is good but a couple of improvements would be around housekeeping - didn’t top up tea, sugar or bodywash on each day and we didn’t notice of course until needed! Some aspects of the hotel are quite...

"We enjoyed our stay. The staff were all lovely. The hotel is tired and could do with a refurb. However it was clean and the food, both at breakfast and in the restaurant, was of a high standard. It was also well situated for travelling around both by public transport and by car. We would definitely go back"

"The divan was to big for the mattress, no bath towel or milk in the room, it hadn't even been hoovered. I went down to the bar to ask for some milk and a towel I got the towel but was told they have any milk, luckily there was a shop near by, for the price i paid i expected better"

Great breakfast ,and good dinner at fair price .
Great size quiet room .
The hand basin was blocked and when I put boing water down drain a lot of black gunk came out . A very helpful maintenance man cleaned it but how could housekeepers not notice this .
Large stain on duvet and carpets where not very clean ."

"Great location for an overnight. Friendly staff and warm welcome at check in. Breakfast wasn’t as good as I’m used to. Room was tired and pillows need refreshing as they were clumpy and uncomfortable, which impacted on sleep"
