"We stayed 2 days. We arrived at 3 pm and were disappointed that there was no option to enjoy a meal. The signs along the highway indicate there is a restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. The restaurant only serves breakfast and lunch until 3 pm. Closed on Sundays and Mondays. After a 4.5 hour drive we had to drive back to Carlsbad for dinner. A 40 mile round trip drive. "The state of the room and bathroom is horrible—hair, mold, yellowed towels, and a bad odor in the room suggesting it isn't being cleaned. It smells musty; they really need to either renovate the entire hotel or hire a better cleaning company."
